Please read this website maintenance policy (“Policy”) carefully before using the https://inwebify.com website (“Website”, “Service”) operated by Inwebify (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

This Policy outlines the scope, limitations, and terms of the website maintenance services (“Maintenance Services”) provided under Inwebify’s TotalCare WordPress Maintenance Plans (“TotalCare Plans”), including the complimentary Basic TotalCare Plan.

Definitions and Legal References

The property that enables the provision of the Service.

Owner (“Company“, “we”, “us”, or “our”)
Inwebify – The legal entity that provides this Website and/or the Service to Users.

User (“User” or “you” or “your”)
The natural person or legal entity that uses this Website or subscribes to any related service.

Service
The website maintenance services provided under the TotalCare Plans, as described herein and on this Website.

Maintenance Services
The specific tasks and responsibilities outlined in this Policy that are provided under TotalCare Plans to maintain, update, and support WordPress websites.

Overview of TotalCare Maintenance Services

TotalCare Plans are designed to ensure that User websites remain secure, up-to-date, and professionally supported. These plans are intended strictly for maintenance-related activities and are not a substitute for web development or software engineering services.

All content and design change requests submitted under an active TotalCare Plan will be completed regardless of complexity or the time required to fulfill them. There is no fixed time limit for such tasks, but all work is performed at the discretion and scheduling of the Company.

Scope of Included Services

The following services are included in all active TotalCare Plans, including the Basic TotalCare Plan unless otherwise noted:

Design and Content Changes

We support general layout and content modifications such as:

  • Moving or rearranging existing page elements (e.g., sections, images, text blocks)
  • Updating colors, fonts, or spacing using the site’s existing visual settings
  • Adding new pages with simple layouts using the active page builder (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery)
  • Editing or replacing existing content, media, or call-to-action components
  • Creating navigation menu updates or header/footer adjustments within theme limits

Design changes must be reasonable and not require advanced development or custom CSS/JS beyond the capabilities of the installed theme and builder. Complex design overhauls or full redesigns are not included under any TotalCare Plan.

AI Content Creation

Available to Users on eligible paid plans. Content may include blog posts, marketing copy, service descriptions, and related material.
All AI-generated content must be reviewed and approved by the User prior to being implemented on the website. Unused AI content credits do not roll over between billing periods.

Core, Plugin, and Theme Updates

Regular updates to the WordPress core, installed plugins, and themes to ensure compatibility and security. Updates are deployed using established best practices and may be deferred if known conflicts exist.

Performance Optimization

Includes improvements such as caching configuration, minification settings, and front-end speed tuning to enhance load times and user experience.

Intrusion Detection & Protection

We deploy industry-standard monitoring tools and firewall configurations to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and suspicious traffic.

Website Backups

Scheduled backups are performed to maintain recoverable versions of the website. Frequency and location of backups may vary depending on the environment and selected plan.

24/7 Expert Support

Ongoing technical support is available for all maintenance-related services listed in this Policy.

TotalCare services are available to all WordPress website owners, regardless of hosting provider. However, we strongly recommend hosting your website with Inwebify for improved integration, faster support, and enhanced security.

Basic Free TotalCare Plan

The Basic TotalCare Plan is included at no additional cost on select Inwebify Managed WordPress Hosting,  WooCommerce Hosting, Cloud VPS, and Dedicated Cloud WordPress hosting plans. This free plan provides essential maintenance services to ensure that your website remains secure, up-to-date, and optimized. For WP Tiny and Woo Tiny plans the Basic TotalCare Plan is avalable as an add-on service only.

Included in the Basic TotalCare Plan:

  • Design and Content Changes: Basic content updates, minor design tweaks, and layout adjustments as needed.
  • Core, Plugin, and Theme Updates: Regular updates to the WordPress core, plugins, and themes for security and functionality.
  • Performance Optimization: Routine speed enhancements to maintain optimal website performance.
  • Intrusion Detection & Protection: Malware scanning and firewall rule monitoring to help protect against common threats.
  • Website Backups: Regular backups to protect website data.
  • 24/7 Expert Support: Ongoing support for any maintenance-related requests.

Excluded from the Basic TotalCare Plan:

  • AI Content Creation: Not available in the free Basic TotalCare Plan. AI-generated content creation is only available in the paid TotalCare Plans.

The Basic TotalCare Plan is designed for users who require fundamental maintenance for their websites, but if you need more advanced services like AI content creation or more complex design requests, upgrading to a paid TotalCare Plan may be necessary.

Content and Image Submission Guidelines

File Formats for Text Content

All written content (for edits, additions, or new pages) must be submitted in one of the following commonly supported formats:

  • .DOCX (Microsoft Word)
  • .TXT (Plain Text)
  • .RTF (Rich Text Format)
  • .PDF (Text-based only)
  • .GDocs (shared via link with editing permissions)

File Formats for Images

All image submissions must be appropriately sized and web-optimized. The following formats are supported:

  • .JPG / .JPEG
  • .PNG
  • .GIF (static only)
  • .WEBP
  • .SVG (vector format, where applicable)

Images must be submitted with specific usage instructions and should be named clearly for placement (e.g., hero-banner.png, team-photo.jpg).Submissions with incorrect sizing, low resolution, or incompatible formats may be returned for correction.

Copyright Compliance

All content and images submitted by the User must be original, properly licensed, or otherwise free of copyright infringement. The User is solely responsible for ensuring that all media and content comply with applicable intellectual property laws. Inwebify assumes no liability for copyright violations.

Excluded Services

The following are not included under any TotalCare Plan:

  • Custom plugin or theme development
  • Coding requests involving PHP, JavaScript, or custom script configuration
  • Building new full-page layouts beyond reasonable use of the installed page builder
  • Integrating third-party software or services
  • Brand design, logos, or advanced graphics
  • Any project determined to fall outside the scope of routine website maintenance

Requests for any of the above may be quoted as a separate service upon request.

Usage Restrictions

TotalCare Plans are intended solely for maintenance of a single WordPress website. Each additional website requires a separate maintenance plan.

Requests must directly relate to services outlined in this Policy. All AI content must be reviewed and approved by the User before being implemented. Maintenance requests must remain within the limitations of the existing theme or page builder. Unused design/content changes and AI content creation do not carry over to future billing periods.

Inwebify reserves the right to limit or reject requests deemed excessive, inappropriate, or outside the defined scope.

Disclaimer

Inwebify makes no guarantees regarding specific timeframes for task completion. While all eligible requests are processed with care and diligence, response and delivery times may vary depending on complexity and volume.

The Company is not responsible for data loss, plugin conflicts, or unexpected behavior resulting from third-party tools or updates. All changes and updates are applied with reasonable caution, and backups are maintained as a safeguard.

You acknowledge that all content and image submissions are your responsibility. Inwebify is not liable for issues arising from incorrect file types, poorly formatted documents, or unlicensed media.

We reserve the right to decline, limit, or pause services at our discretion if submitted requests are deemed excessive, abusive, or non-compliant with this Policy.

Modifications to this Policy

We reserve the right to modify, revise, or update this Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted to this page. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
