How to Install WordPress in One Click
Setting up WordPress doesn’t have to be complicated. Inwebify makes it easy to install WordPress in one click, so you can skip the manual upload process and start building right away.
Note: WordPress is automatically installed when your hosting account is activated—on all Inwebify hosting plans.
This guide is for users who want to manually install WordPress or add additional WordPress sites on Inwebify hosting plans that support multiple websites.
Quick Start
Follow these steps to install WordPress in under two minutes using our 1-click installer.
Step 1: Log In to Your Client Dashboard
Visit https://portal.inwebify.com and log in using your email and password or your Google account.
Once inside, click the “Services” menu or dashboard block, then click on your hosting plan name to open its details page.
Inwebify makes it easy to install WordPress in one click, right after logging in.
Step 2: Access cPanel
From the top menu of your service page, click “Login to cPanel.” This launches your hosting control panel in a new tab. Once you’re inside cPanel, you’re just a few clicks away from being able to install WordPress in one click.
Step 3: Launch WordPress Management (WP Toolkit)
In cPanel, locate WordPress Management (formerly WP Toolkit) using one of the following methods:
- Click “WordPress Management” from the left-hand sidebar menu
- Scroll to the Domains section and select WordPress Management
- Or use the search bar at the top of cPanel to quickly find it
This will open the WordPress management dashboard, where you can view existing installs or begin a new one with just a few clicks.
Step 4: Configure Your Installation Settings
In the WordPress Management screen, click “Install” to begin setting up your site. You’ll be prompted to fill in a few key details:
- Installation Path: Choose your domain and whether to install in the root or a subdirectory
- Site Title & Tagline: These can be changed later inside WordPress
- Administrator Username & Password: Choose secure credentials you’ll use to log in
- Administrator Email: Used for recovery and notifications
- Language & Plugin Options: Choose your site language and toggle common plugins
You’ll also see advanced database options. You can either:
- Set your own database name, username, password, and table prefix,
or - Leave these fields at their secure default values generated by the installer
Adjusting these options is helpful if you’re managing multiple sites or prefer custom database naming conventions.
Bonus: You can also select from our predefined plugin and theme packs. These optional bundles help jumpstart your site setup by automatically applying popular tools and designs immediately after installation.
Step 5: Click “Install”
Once your details are filled in, scroll down and click the “Install” button. The installer will take 15–30 seconds to complete.
You’ll see a confirmation screen with your WordPress login URL and admin credentials.
Step 6: Log In to WordPress Instantly
Once the installation is complete, you’ll see your new site listed inside the WordPress Management dashboard.
To log in:
- Find your site in the list
- Click the “Login” button next to it
This will take you straight to the WordPress Admin Dashboard—no need to enter your username or password.
From there, you can begin customizing your site, installing themes, adding plugins, and publishing content.
Troubleshooting & Tips
- If you get an error during install, double-check that your domain is pointed correctly and there’s no existing site installed.
- You can uninstall and reinstall WordPress anytime through Softaculous.
- If you’re using a WordPress or WooCommerce plan, you can skip this process entirely—it’s already done for you.
