Job Description:
As a WordPress Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites for clients. You will collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites, including theme and plugin customization.
  • Ensure websites are responsive, SEO-friendly, and optimized for performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with websites, plugins, and themes.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other team members to meet client requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Ensure websites are secure, regularly updated, and meet high standards of quality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress developer with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Experience with custom WordPress themes, plugins, and WooCommerce.
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
